Mini History

Mini History is a short graphic novel about the unsung fashion hero Mary Quant. The story explores her early life, her creative pursuits and creation of the mini-skirt, and how her bold creative choices changed the future of fashion. The illustrations in the graphic novel are inspired by 60’s psychedelic designs, focussing heavily on swirl and flow throughout the panels in the spread.
The figures are inspired by 60’s mod fashion illustrations.
